At Audrey’s, we go beyond the traditional FOUR C’s ( Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat Weight) and educate our customer about diamonds in details to help them make a better decision.

Diamond Clarity

Clarity is the state of the diamond being clear or transparent. Diamond clarity is the presence or absence of characteristics called inclusions in the diamond. Diamond clarity is graded from FL ( Flawless) To I3 ( Imperfect) by GIA laboratory where Flawless being the best clarity.

Eye Clean (Audrey's Grading)

What is eye clean and why is it so important?
Eye clean diamonds are where the inclusionsare not visible to the naked eye. Generally, diamonds with a clarity grading ofSI 1-I3 tend to be “Not Eye Clean” where inclusions are visible by naked eyes. Avoidpurchasing diamonds that are “Not Eye Clean” as the flaws are visible to thenaked eye affecting the beauty of the diamond.

Fluorescence

What is Fluorescence?

Fluorescence is a characteristic that makes some diamonds appear to change color or glow when they are exposed to the ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet light can come in the form of either sunlight or by fluorescent light bulbs. This change in color is completely different than the actual diamond. (Refer to image below)
